If you are a Delhi foodie and you haven’t done Old Delhi Food Walk, then you aren’t a foodie at all. Old Delhi has some of the best foods and snacks to offer. You will get different varieties of snacks, drinks, sweets and many more at each and every corner of Chandni Chowk.

So without any further wait lets start the walk.

Old Jalebi Wala 

This Old Delhi Jalebi Wala shop is one of the most famous spots in whole Delhi for the Jalebi lovers. They serve Jalebi with Rabri, which is just a delight to have.  Jalebi is deep fried in desi ghee then dipped in sugar syrup. Rates are above the average Jalebi walas. Rs.500 per KG.

Parathe Wali Gali

Not personally a very big fan of this place, but its quite famous here. They have many varieties of parathas such as Mix Paratha, Rabri Paratha and more. These partha are prepared in Desi Ghee too. Served with chutney, aloo ki subji, pickles and sitafal ki sabji. Tried these once, but wasn’t that satisfied. Img Src. Google

JB Kachori Wala

This is my personal favorite place in Chandni Chowk. Old Delhi. Jung Bahadur Kachori wala is one of the best kachori I ever had. Crispy Kachori served with spicy aloo ki subji, sliced green chilies and Kachalo which gives it a tangy flavor.  One thing to keep in mind is that it’s quite spicy so if you can’t handle that much spice I seriously recommend you to ask the shopkeeper not to add chilies on the top. Price- Rs 35 for two kachori.

Natraj Dahi Bhalle

This shop is one of the oldest here. Said to be serving Dahi Bhala for over a decade. Flavors are very mild. Bhalla’s topped with sweetened Dahi(Curd) , Red tamarind Chutney and masala at the end. Its a delight to have in summers as its quite cold and tastes amazing too. Price- Rs. 50 Per plate.

Kakke Di Hatti

After snacks its time for main course. This pure vegetarian place is one of the most jam packed eateries in Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi. Serving one of the biggest Naan Breads in Delhi. Prices are reasonable. Their dal makhani is quite different and good in taste too. Img Src- Google

Giani Di Hatti

You just can’t end this food walk without having Rabri Faluda at Giani’s. One of the best rabri faluda you’ll have. The quantity of rabri they put in their faluda is quite amazing. Taste is just out of the world. Price- Rs.85
